Having graduated from the Conservatory of Music followed by the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno in the branch of clarinet, he has been focusing also upon saxophone ever since 1997. Since 2003 member of BSQ (Bohemia Saxophone Quartet), contributing to numerous further projects in the field of musical, jazz, contemporary music and authorial creativity. Being member of the orchestras of the City Theatre Brno and Karlin Theatre Prague, he makes use of the jazz practice acquired within the Gustav Brom Band, Karel Vlach Orchestra, Jazz Side Band and various other jazz ensembles. As regards classical music, he collaborates with the Prague Chamber Philharmonics, the Brno Philharmonic, Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc, Hradec Králové Philharmonic and North-Bohemian Philharmonic Teplice.
He regularly perfections his style by participating in international interpretation courses in Ostrava, headed by Philippe Porteoie.
