Study

Conservatory in Brno (bass and percussions). After graduating from the Conservatory member of the Opera orchestra of the Janáèek Theatre in Brno in the bass group. Since 1997 at the same time also member of the Czech National Symphonic Orchestra in Prague.

Concert activities:

In the course of the studies member of Miroslav Veselý jazz quartet as drummer (77-78), with this band concerts and records for the Czech radio Brno. With a rock band „Nomen“ a number of productions and first prize in a Rock Band Show at Èeská Tøebová (80). At the turn of the 80ies and 90ies guest of the Rock Band "For feeling sure", in addition to sessions also a CD. Short time cooperation with Iva Bittová and Pavel Fajt, with whom I participated in the INVENTIONEN ´89 festival in West Berlin. In 1994 founding member of QUAKVARTET wherein I am active as author, bass player and drummer down to the present day. During 96-98 playing bass with „Foot prints“ jazz quartet performing predominantly in Moravian towns. As instrument player co-operation with various Brno theatres: in 96 member of the band in the play "Dancing" (Theatre Sedm a pul), in 98 and 99 member of the accompanying trio for the productions "Christmas at the Ivanoffs" (Hadivadlo) in Brno, Prague and Moscow. With QUAKVARTET a number of alternative music festivals, MC „QUAKVARTET“ (editor Aton 95), further the music for the movie „Ultima Thule“ (2000) and at the present day the CD „QUAKVARTET - Children´s Songs by Chick Corea“ is under preparation.
